Merit-Based Scholarship Programs
INTRODUCTION
The Board of Governors of The ISF Academy has established a Merit-Based Scholarship Program to encourage our students to strive for excellence in their chosen passions, be it in academics, the arts, sports or other areas. This scholarship program provides for a fee remission of 50% of the annual tuition fee and, in the case of the Special Talent Scholarship, an annual allowance.
The objectives of this program are:
- to encourage and motivate our students to strive for academic excellence and a balanced development;
- to acknowledge our students' achievements and efforts; and
- to ensure students deserving of an excellent education are not constrained by financial considerations.
As this program is separate and distinct from the Financial Aid Program, students who qualify for Financial Aid may also apply for a Merit-Based Scholarship.
Students who are presently studying in the school as well as transfer students are eligible to apply for these scholarships. The Scholarship Selection Committee does not distinguish between existing and transfer students in its deliberation.
With the first batch of students graduating in 2012, “Tomorrow’s School Today” is looking to the future. The school will also offer three university scholarships each year to its graduates. The scholarship will cover students’ entire tuition and boarding expenses at any four-year undergraduate program, be it local or overseas, for their entire undergraduate program.
Applicants who do not qualify for Scholarships will automatically be considered for financial aid support.

We aspire to extend our financial aid and scholarship programs to at least 30% of our student body – a goal that we are committed to achieving by the end of this decade. |
