The ISF Academy's Chinese curriculum primarily utilizes materials from Beijing, Peoples Republic of China, supplemented with elements from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. Curriculum standards and benchmarksaredesigned in accordance with PRC practices including the use of Hanyu Pinyin romanization, but adapted to use the complex written form of Chinese characters.
The ISF Academy INSIGHTS
Study of a language enables understanding of that culture. Chinese language studies at The ISF Academy include Chinese classical Tang poems and recitation of San Zi Jing to expose students to traditional Chinese virtues. The daily practice of Chinese character writing develops manual dexterity and develops students concentration. Students grow to admire the beauty and richness of the Chinese language. |
