The ISF Community

Building a strong sense of community is one of the core objectives of The ISF Academy. We value and respect each and every individual, and consider teachers, staff, students, parents, and our future alumni as equal participants in our community. A learning community is one in which the pursuit of knowledge is mutually supported. Everyone in this community learns and engages in such activities.

Our Teachers and Staff

Our professional teaching staff are carefully selected from countries around the world, including Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, Mainland China, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, the United States and Hong Kong. Our faculty brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience that enriches the learning environment of the school. Besides being subject experts, our teachers nurture whole child development through Pastoral Care, Moral Education, Small Group Tutorials, Support Classes and Challenge Classes after school, Outdoor Education, and

Exchange Programs. Students and teachers alike work collaboratively, plan together, set high expectations and strive for achievement. Our teachers model our core values of Eight Virtues + One through their professional learning and work at school. They reflect on their learning and share with others. Our current teacher to student ratio is 1:8.

Our Students

The ISF Academy believes diversity is fundamental to learning excellence. We welcome and encourage students from diverse backgrounds. Our comprehensive Financial Aid Program for both Primary and Secondary and our Scholarship Program for Secondary Students allows us to attract students from all segments of Hong Kong ensuring that limited financial means are not an obstacle to any family wishing to attend The ISF Academy. In addition, our campus is fully equipped for disabled access.

Our Parents

Parents and relatives of our students are a big part of life at The ISF Academy. They form a foundation for the learning community that supports each child. Our Parent-Teacher Association meets on a regular basis and is involved in many aspects of their children's education. Parents are also represented in the Foundation Board and the School Management Committee, which drive the long term vision and the day-to-day operations of the school.
