Team-based: Learning partnerships

We care deeply about fostering a supportive and responsible environment where students’ talents and passions can be nurtured and their individuality respected. We value and respect each and every individual, and consider teachers, staff, students and parents as equal citizens in our learning community.

The ISF Academy believes that collaborative efforts will help achieve a common good with better results.  The ISF Academy teachers’ actively undertake horizontal and vertical lesson planning to not only ensure ownership and successful implementation of the curriculum, but also to involve other members of the learning community.  Click here for more details.

Furthermore, The ISF Academy is firmly committed to partnering with the student’s family to foster a rich home-school educational environment.  There are mentoring programs within and beyond the school community.

In line with The ISF Academy’s mission to develop a healthy learning community, The ISF Academy offers regular public talks that cover relevant and current topics regarding children education and related issues.

There are many ways that the home-school partnership is created.  Facilitated by e-learning activities, students’ discoveries extend from school to home.  This is particularly important in the acquisition and application of languages.  Parents can also become involved in school activities like sports coaching, library management, selected school development initiatives, or the School Management Committee.
